access to EMMC-ChIR classes in a personalised study plan worth 60 ECTS credits;
access to optional extra-curricular modules within the EMMC-ChIR course worth up to a maximum of 12 ECTS credits;
supervision of a research project thesis worth 60 ECTS credits;
access to all campus facilities of the universities in the consortium, including wireless internet access in the campus, computing facilities, library, laboratories; student canteens, etc;
access to study materials in electronic (pdf) form;
costs of Joint Diploma and Diploma Supplement issuing;
costs of issuing of one copy of a final certificate of conclusion.
In addition, for Partner Country students, tuition fees costs covers:
help and support traveling to Europe and applying for a passport visa;
help and support finding adequate accommodation before arrival to Europe. When the Host University is the University of Algarve, this includes reservation of accommodation in student residences.
Tuition fees DO NOT COVER:
travel costs, including costs of mandatory mobility within countries of the consortium;
accommodation or any type of living costs;
costs of printing study materials;
cost of printing evaluation materials, including the final research thesis;
personal computer or other personal informatics equipment.
Value of the tuition fees:
Residents of a Partner Country: 14000€ for the 24 months course
Residents of a Programme Country: 6000€ for the 24 months course
Students are required to contract an extended Erasmus Mundus insurance policy. This may be contracted by the student, who will provide proof of it at the moment of registration, or though the ChIR consortium. If contracted through the ChIR, the insurance will add 1000€ per year to the fees above.
