Welcome to the 4th ChIR Symposium!
Since 2015 the International Symposium on Chemical Innovation and Regulation brings together professionals, researchers and students from all over the world to discuss state of the art issues on chemical safety, sustainability and the regulations created to assure them.
On June 2018, the University of Barcelona hosts the 4th ChIR Symposium. The program includes keynote presentations by renowned invited lecturers, and the latest results from the research projects undertaken within the Erasmus Mundus Programme on Chemical Innovation and Regulation, presented by the ChIR graduate research students.
For ChIR graduate students the Symposium presents the opportunity to present and discuss research work, to foster a fruitful discussion of results and their application in industry and regulation, exchanging ideas and experience with the main players in chemical innovation and regulation: researchers, industry and regulators.
For professionals dealing with chemical regulations or simply concerned with the safety of chemicals, the ChIR Symposium is the opportunity to contact with the latest research advances, to meet the future professionals in the field and to exchange ideas and solutions regarding common issues.
The ChIR project is funded through the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission. As such, registration fees are reduced and a fee waiver is available for the first 20 registered participants, as well as for all ChIR students and alumni.
